It's been a while since we've had a decent pro-stalking anthem in the mix. Last one that comes to mind for us would be Hawthorne Heights' "Niki FM". Although that was really that decent though was it.
Not so much outside a girls window with a radio, the new Death Cab video sees Ben Gibbard croon about how he"Wish[es] you could see the potential of you and me." and "There are days when outisde your window I see my reflection when I slowly pass.". Charming!
The video follows the same theme as Gibbard fights a battle to win the heart of a redhead, one which he never meets during the video. Oh, and that was a spoiler, so don't read it if you don't want to know what happens. The eight and a half minute song features a four and a half minute instrumental introduction, which can only be described as 'groove-a-licious'.
The whole prospect of “I will follow you into the dark” seem mighty creepy right now!
