Another tragic loss has hit the world of music this week after Johnny Schou, bassist for the Fort Collins based indie/pop/punk band was found dead at his home in Colorado.
The rest of the band issued a short statement that ran like this: "...The quartet from Fort Collins was to celebrate the release of their debut album with an in-store appearance in Denver today. Further information regarding the band's plans, and dates that have been previously announced, will be forthcoming in due time. Johnny Schou was 22 years-old."
It's been just over six months since Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert was found dead on tour from an accidental drug overdose and a little over a year since Ra Ra Riot drummer John Pike accidentally drowned in Buzzard's Bay, Massachusetts. .
Tickle Me Pink had just finished a stint on the Warped Tour and were due to embark on a tour with Finch, Scary Kids Scaring Kids and Foxy Shazam this month.

Our apologies for the factual error regarding John Pike's death. It has now been corrected. Thanks for the heads up Josh.
Did someone tickle him too much? Making it impossible for him to breathe? I blame his sister. The little scally..
Wouldn't the band be called "Tickle Me Blue" in that case?
Why are you guys joking around with this?!?!?
Johnny was a great friend of mine and you are insulting him and his family? You guys are worthless.
No need to joke around guys, have some respect.

John Pike didn't take his own life.
