"This Is Noise" Proclaim Rise Against

Affable Hardcore-Punk band Rise Against are giving fans a small treat in the form of a digital E.P featuring five tracks which have previously been released as B-sides by the band.

Containing three cover versions and two original tracks, the E.P was first released in Canada in July of 2007, now however, it looks set to receive a release in the States via the iTunes download store. It will be available starting January 15th 2008.

The band are currently in the midst of writing and recording their fifth full-length album, which according to guitarist Zach Blair (no relation) will likely see a release in the summer of 2008. Although it has yet to be confirmed how the album will be released following the winding down of independent operation of their label Geffen Records.
