Bursting onto everybody's radar with their second album The '59 Sound, 2009 was nothing short of a breathtaking year for The Gaslight Anthem, a punk band with a retro, Springsteen-esque edge.
The Gaslight Anthem are now hard at work recording the follow-up to said album with producer Ted Hutt at The Magic Shop in New York City. The album will be called American Slang and is set to be released in June 2010 on SideOneDummy Records. The band has just announced the first of many UK/European tour dates to come, in support of their new album:
