Bristol's trip-hop pioneering duo Massive Attack have confirmed plans for their fifth studio album to be released in February of 2010.

Going by the name of Heligoland, the album will feature a host of guest performers including Blur's Damon Albarn on vocals for the track 'Saturday Come Slow' as well as playing bass guitar on 'Flat of the Blade' and keyboard on 'Splitting the Atom'.

Additionally, Elbow's Guy Garvey will be lending his vocal prowess, as will Martina Topley-Bird, Hope Sandoval, Horace Andy and Tunde Adebimpe.

Around the same time as the album's release, the boys will be playing a handful of live shows in aid of the Hoping Foundation, which seeks to better the plight of the children growing up in Palestine, those dates are:

Feb 08, 2010 - Newport @ Newport Centre
Feb 09, 2010 - Brighton @ Brighton Dome
