More widely known for their 2006 collaboration with Jenny Lewis of Rilo Kiley fame, The Watson Twins step out on their own tonight to a sizable audience at Buffalo Billiards.
Their primary job tonight is to show off their new album, which is due out in the next few months. It is, as they inform us the first time they have played the tracks live and the audience tonight seems keen to check it out.
There are no real surprises, The Watson Twins do what they do best, a lightly country and folk tinged rock, but they do enough to pique the interest of the favourable crowd tonight, despite the ubiquitous sound problems that have hit this year's SxSW.
