R.E.M Put Foot Down On Accelerate Tour

As part of their activity to promote new album "Accelerate", famed rock band R.E.M have added more dates to their expansive tour of 2008.

With the amount of dates that give anyone a headache trying to remember which one they live near to, the tour will take in large quantities of North America and Europe, stretching from May to September.

The actual album gets a release next week, meaning March 31 for the U.K, April 01 for the States and about 3 weeks ago for anybody on Bit Torrent.
