Radiohead To Promote Green Issues On American TV

22nd April 2008 | by Mark Thomson

It takes one hell of a booking agent to get a hold of Radiohead for a teevee chat show, yet Conan O'Brien's producers have pulled off a coup in snapping up the band for an appearance on The Late Show.

Radiohead will be performing for The Late Show with Conan O'Brien, albeit from a studio in London, as the band don't want to travel to America. They say it will leave an impressionable carbon footprint that would be the equivalent to driving one car solidly for a year.

The band will perform a pre-recorded version of 'House Of Cards', which will air during a season of programmming in aid of NBC Television's 'Earth Week'.

You can watch the performance on NBC tomorrow night (April 23rd). However, if you live in the U.K, try flipping between CNN and Fox News, sometime after Thursday.

Have your say
