Radiohead Play April Fools Day Gig

BBC Radio 2 have snapped up Radiohead to play a one-off concert for the station, in the run-up to their massive world tour.

The group will play the free concert at the BBC's Radio Theatre in London on Tuesday 1st April, as well as providing a series of interviews and other material for the station.

Radiohead fans will have to apply for the tickets via a special telephone number - 08700 100 200 - with tickets being despatched randomly.

Other BBC networks will give away tickets too.

BBC Radio 2 Head of Music, Jeff Smith, was clearly delighted by the scoop. He told the Beeb's news site: "You'd be a fool to miss the concert".

Clever stuff.... Radiohead's concert for Radio 2 takes place on April 1st.
