Radiohead Announce U.S Tour Dates

12th February 2008 | by Gavin Riley

Radiohead have unveiled tour dates for the first leg of their U.S tour. Starting on May 5th in West Palm Beach, the band will continue all the way through to May 18th in Dallas.

The band have been keeping the tour dates under wraps for some time, but the eight shows will all take place before Radiohead come back to Europe for a month's worth of shows in June.

A limited number of tickets for the first leg of U.S.A tour dates go on sale Thursday February 14th, via the Radiohead W.A.S.T.E website, before going on general sale two days later.

As we reported earlier, the band's former label EMI, seems intent on releasing a Greatest Hits album during the tour to capitalise on the fervour that surrounds Radiohead.

A second set of U.S dates will be confirmed in the next few weeks, all of which will take place after Radiohead's European Tour.

^^Haha!

I'm gonna try and get some tickets for Houston, but i'm a bit disappointed in Radiohead for (a) picking such massive venues with shite sound and (b) for allowing Live Nation the most capatilistic company since $tarbucks to organise the tour for them.

Bit rich....
