Q Magazine Declare Coldplay 'Best Band in the World'

Q Magazine, the best selling music magazine in the U.K have held their annual awards this afternoon. Their highest accolade of 'Best Band in the World' went to Coldplay. On an unrelated note, Fox News have also declared Ronald Regan as the best president of all time.

The publication, which posted an average circulation of 113,174 between January and June of this year held their awards this afternoon at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Coldplay were also awarded 'Best Album' for "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends". After taking to the stage for the first time, the band's front-man Chris Martin led with a disclaimer of potential boredom. We've skipped over all that stuff to cite all the words of interest. We came up with one sentence. “[Coldplay are] the greatest band in the world,” he proclaimed before lapsing into humility and adding "U2 are on holiday".
