Portishead Again

Portishead Stream New Album Free

15th April 2008 | by Aidan Williamson

Portishead have teamed up with Last.fm to give people the chance to listen to their entire new album "Third", unabridged, one week before it is due to be released.

Fans will be able to listen to the full-length from April 21 - 28 via this link. The stream will stay active all week, right up until the album's official release on April 28.

The deal is likely to help Last.fm's new venture into ad-supported streaming, which the company announced in January 2008. Most tracks and albums can be streamed off the website for free. The artists are paid each time the track is played. On demand listening is currently only available to users in the US, UK, and Germany.
