Portishead Not Ready To Rest in Peace

A Single is on its way from Portishead. The track "Rip" will be the second single to be released from their album "Third", the first being "Machine Gun".

"Rip" will be heading our way on June the 9th. Prefix mag are streaming the song, which you can listen to by clicking below. The band recently made an appearance at the Coachella festival which Geoff took a little time to talk about:

"Coachella is a lot better organised and cleaner than most European festivals but it's a really nice vibe but it's sooo fukin hot...and for a transparent old English man who burns its a bit much.. i think I [probably looked] like a walking bell end by the end of [the] day."

"We [were] in L.A. for a week doing press, I really don't know what the interviews are going to be like? I think I come off sounding really mouthy, slagging people off which worries me deeply. I just find it hard to play the press game... without ranting about someone!!! but spose its not really working for a living so I'm not complaining."

"The band [really enjoyed] themselves, the European dates went better than we thought they would... I saw Danger Mouse the other [week] and wanted to say 'hi', but I didn't, he might have punched me, and with my mouth I wouldn't of blamed him."
