Support new music: choose from our favourite new albums this month.

Late last month we wrote THIS about Latitude 2009's announced headliners and other confirmations and now, a few more bands have been added to the bill.

Spiritualized, The Gossip, Magazines and Newton Faulkner join Grace Jones, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Pet Shop Boys, Editors, Bat For Lashes and Doves amongst a few others as the the first roster of bands to be confirmed for the event.

Latitude runs between July 17th - 19th at Henham Park, Southwold in Suffolk and tickets are on sale now so click HERE to visit the official site.

More names are expected to be announced in the coming months so keep checking back for more confirmations as the weeks progress.

The only thing that bothers us about this years line-up is how stellar last years names turned out to be. Can you really top Sigur Ros, Interpol, Death Cab For Cutie, Elbow, Franz Ferdinand and Joanna Newsom? I guss we'll have to wait a little longer to find out.
