Funeral For A Friend Promise Return To Casual

04th February 2008 | by Aidan Williamson

Funeral For A Friend, who are currently in the process of setting up their own record label have unveiled plans for new music.

The Welsh lads are planning to release an E.P in the coming months and are plotting a new album for around September time. Interest abounds when the bands drummer Ryan Richards talked about the new albums direction.

To paraphrase: The new material will sound different to all of our previous albums, although it is probably closest in terms of vibe to our debut Casually Dressed and Deep in Conversation". It will be a lot heavier than Tales Don't Tell Themselves and will certainly not be another concept album. Songs will be more riff based and will also see the return of aggressive vocals to the fold."

We'll start with a Woo... and may even opt to end that exclamation with a "...Hoo".
