Following their sessions in the studio recording the follow-up to "Tales Don't Tell Themselves", Welsh post-hardcore boys Funeral For A Friend will be hitting the road for something that stretches the traditional definition of the word 'tour'.
The band have already spoken about a significant change in direction for the new album. Speaking about the impending 'tour' frontman Matt Davies says: "We're really excited for these shows. It's small and intimate and it's gonna be great fun. We've been itching to play some live shows since the last tour and with the new record on the horizon it'll be cool to maybe pummel through a new song or two."
Drummer Ryan Richards chimes in with “We specifically chose the Newport, Glasgow and Manchester venues because we've had some of our best shows and memories at those places and we chose Kings College after watching a vintage AC/DC performance on the telly from that venue and fancying a crack at playing there ourselves. Gives us a good excuse to play some new tunes as well for the first time - as well as a few golden oldies of course.”
Support for the shows will come courtesy of In Case of Fire.
