Foals Wrap Up Debut Album

23rd July 2007 | by Gavin Riley

Foals have just about wrapped up proceedings on their debut album. The Brighton via Oxford five-piece have been working on the LP in New York with producer and TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek for the past few weeks.

Now, in typical over-the-top fashion, frontman Yannis Philippakis exclaimed on their blog that their studio days are well and truly over.

The LP is as of yet untitled, indeed, some of the track names are still to be finalised, with Yannis noting: "The track titles are still up for debate...there will be 10 'proper' tracks and then 100 tracks of filler"

"All that remains to do now is some group vocals (us attempting to recreate the enviable LoveCat Orchestra who've made an entire career out of crap shouting on our demo ....... and HANDCLAPS" he added.

If you can't wait for the album, then make sure you catch up with a live show from a band that are one of the most impressive live performers in Britain.
