We've been looking forward to Shearwaters forthcoming record 'The Golden Archipelago' for some time now and the band seem intent on keeping our excitement peaked with the steady release of new information and songs.

First came the accompanying dossier available for purchase via donations, then came the free download of Castaways - track eight from the LP - and now comes another free MP3 by the name of Black Eyes.

Sitting as track two, the wonderfully brash number builds and builds for it's entire duration, eventually dying just when things seem at the apex of their intensity. It's another great early peek of what's to come and holds nothing but more promise for the upcoming CD, due on February 15th through Matador.
