In one of those 'you couldn't make it up' moments it appears that the first run of Becks' Deluxe Odelay reissue have been produced with the wrong lyrics printed in its accompanying booklet.
Best of all was the Record Label's explanation of how the mishap occurred. It seems that the lyrics were copied from an online song lyrics website rather than doing the obvious and, say, asking Beck what the lyrics were.
Beck has apologised to fans who bought the incorrect version and has promised to provide a corrected version soon. If you've got a copy where 'New Pollution' is replaced with 'New Delusion' then we'd suggest you hang on to it misprinted releases have been known to fetch a few quid at auction.
