Death Cab For Cutie to Release in 2008

Death Cab For Cutie have, it seems, returned to a recording studio to commence work on the follow up to 2005 album 'Plans'.

The announcement made on the band's website slates the new album for a May 2008 release.

You can also see a brief video of the band in the studio, where they claim that with the new record they no longer have anything to prove and will be making a record they enjoy.
