Death Cab For Cutie have put all their side projects and other endeavours behind them to concentrate on a new album for the four-piece.
They've reportedly just finished two weeks of pre-production work, and will record the album in three different locations - in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco.
Chris Walla has probably been the busiest member of Death Cab For Cutie. He took time out to produce Tegan And Sara's latest album, 'The Con'.
But not wanting to be left behind, frontman Ben Gibbard, also of 'The Postal Service' is set to perform and talk to Daniel Handler, the author of 'Lemony Snicket', at the San Francisco City Arts and lecture series on Tuesday (September 11).
Speaking of the Postal Service, there are rumours abounding that a few songs have been recorded, and a new LP will appear later next year, after the as yet untitled album from Death Cab For Cutie.
