Death Cab For Cutie will be celebrating today after the band enjoyed their first No. 1 album in the US based on last week's sales.
'Narrow Stairs' debuted in the top slot on the Billboard 200 after the album sold 144,000 copies in the first week of its release.
Death Cab's previous album, 2005's 'Plans', only managed a number four slot selling 90,000 copies in its first week and eventually spent 50 weeks on the chart.
