British Sea Power will keep up their pastime of playing distinctive venues by entertaining fans this Thursday, on the island of Canvey, just off Essex.
The Monico Hotel will grace the Brighton boys on Thursday 7th February as part of a double-header of BBC Shows. The Canvey Island gig is being shown on BBC2's The Culture Show. Then on Friday, BSP will play alongside Morrissey on Later...With Jools Holland.
The gig is a direct correlation to the song from their latest LP 'Do You Like Rock Music?' which refers to the 1953 Canvey floods which wiped away much of the history of Canvey Island F.C (who host the event) and resulted in the deaths of up to 58 people.
The show follows last month's invite only gig, played at the Czech Republic's embassy in London.
