Albums Out This Week - w/c 21st May 2007

Quantity not quality could be the best expression of this weeks album releases. Look away now for the drawl of bad bands, however there are a few lights at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

Meg Baird of Espers has her debut solo CD out on import although we'll include it in the the full rundown when it gets its U.K release on June 4th.

The Cribs come back with their straight faced rolled up sleeves rock.

Look out too for Brooklyn's The National, who return with their fourth studio LP.

The golden raspberries to stay well away from include Maroon 5, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Ozzy Ozbourne.
