We were given the brand new Yeasayer single 'Ambling Alp' back at the end of October and whilst we patiently waited for the accompanying video, we were instead given THIS crazy interactive clip that both shocked us (in a completely NSFW way) and amazed us (in a WTF this is awesome way).
Well finally, the band have now released the official music video for the new track and it's even stranger than we could ever of imagined. Horse-riding, mirror-faced mystery-men canter across a desert toward an inexplicable shape, an ominous woman stands behind frontman Chris Keating, scrunching and moulding his face like it was made of clay. Then of course comes the nakedness again, along with some insane CGI that see's the members face's removed from their bodies. Good, trippy fun basically.
Ampling Alp is the first song to be lifted from the bands forthcoming record Odd Blood, due on February 8th 2010. Check the video out below and let us know what you think.
