Grandiose and individual, Wild Beasts are anything but a conventional band.

Wrapping pantomime melodies around indefinable vocal pitches, they create songs that either astound or entertain, always remaining creative and never falling into the realms of the uninspired.

Their debut record, 2008's Limbo, Panto was an adventurous dive into alternative indie and solidified their status as one of the biggest and best up and coming English collectives around.

Just one year later and the band are ready to redefine where they stand musically again with album number two, the upcoming Two Dancers. Whilst our review of the LP remains imminent, we will say that not only is it a fantastic progression into more mature territory but it also delivers a huge amount of promise for the future of the band.

The video below and this weeks Video Of The Week is a live, acoustic version of track three from last years Limbo, Panto named Devils Crayon. Not only do they absolutely nail the track note for note but witnessing their talents in such a relaxed, unprofessional atmosphere benefits the song to no end.

Recorded by the music site LeCargo (HERE), the video was shot in France and maybe it's just us, but doesn't everything look a lot more artistic in black and white?

Once you've watched it, let us know what you thought of the video by leaving us a comment at the bottom of the page.
