Though some people have their reservations about Mr. Jose Gonzalez, you can't deny the man's inherent talent and guitar-playing composure.

This song here is Crosses, taken from his debut album Veneer way back in 2003 (it's been six god damn years !?).

The video is a special, one-off show he recorded with Spin back in 2006 and it's one of the most gorgeous renditions you could possibly ask for. From the wonderfully complex finger-pickings to his pitch perfect vocalism, the video screams of professionalism and astounding solo musicianship.

We even like the bit where he can no longer keep in a cough at the dying moments of the video, it just seems to add to how genuine the performance seems.

Anyway, you can watch it below yourself so check it out and let us know what you thought by leaving a comment at the bottom of the page.
