In light of the recent controversy about the "X-Factor vs. Buckley Hallelujah Christmas Number One Battle", (check the news HERE if you haven't already) we thought it'd be apt (or rather, we actually had this video penned for the Video Of The Week anyway) to have Mr. Buckley performing the song live as our choice for this week. Christmassy enough for you?

Coming off of his legendary Grace LP, Hallelujah is a cover of Leonard Cohen's classic and this video shows Jeff performing the song on stage, by himself, with a guitar and just one light.

Safe to say this is pretty special stuff here.

Incredible. I can see why all the X Factor people hate Jeff Buckley's version.

He somehow manages to turn a commercial track on its head.

Amazing, just gutted he isn't playing guitar on his Nintendo DS. :-D
