Sometimes the Video Of The Week isn't a live or acoustic rendition of a song by a band but instead just something that we've liked or remembered and feel obliged to share with you.

This week, we present to you this; the Tea Leaf Dancers video by Flying Lotus from his 2007 Reset EP. We remembered seeing this one back when FlyLo was beginning to make a name for himself and it's still just as hypnotic and fantastic as it was then.

The warped, mellow beat and hazy vocals suit the awesome stop motion video of one person and their travels. From the colours to the mood to the atmosphere to the creativity, it all makes for a brief but fantastic experience.

The video started as an unofficial creation by artistic duo Phil And Nick and almost went on to win an award for best independent work in 2008. It's now become a standard accomplice to the track across the internet and well, just check it below and you'll see why.

Once you've given it a watch, let us know what you thought by commenting at the bottom of the page.
