Death Cab For Cutie are officially one of the most important bands of today (please note; thats not just us sucking up to the group).

They've been going since 1997 and front-man Ben Gibbard is possibly of the most well known faces in American Indie Rock. Their latest album Narrow Stairs wasn't the strongest record from their ever swelling discography (this writers personal favorite is Transatlanicism) but it did hold some absolutely fantastic songs from the band.

This particular video is just Mr. Gibbard and co-member Chris Walla playing an acoustic version of the song Cath taken from the Narrow Stairs LP for (rather surprisingly) The English tabloid The Telegraph.

The video is super low-budget and features the two sitting in a minimal room with nothing but two guitars and the majesty that the track creates.

We think it's pretty awesome so we hope you like it too.
