There should be no doubt in anyone's mind as to just how special Bob Marley was.

Not only did he make music for his entire generation but also became the voice of a nation, slowly manifesting into one of the greatest musicians this planet has and will ever see.

This video is for Redemption Song, possibly one of the biggest songs Marley ever recorded. This version is live and acoustic featuring only Bob and a guitar and includes a short 14 second cut of an interview where he talks about his beliefs as an introduction. Needless to say it's an apt way to start the song.

It's slightly harrowing to watch a deceased legend such as Bob pour his heart into a song all about freeing your mind and seeking redemption in a morally corrupt land.

Anyway, don't let us keep you from watching. Check it out below and let us know what you thought in the comments section. The audio is a little fuzzy but hey, it was recorded in the late 70's so try and forgive it a little.
