As many of you know, the legend that was Jack Rose passed away last December at the all too young age of 38.

A close friend of us here at Strange Glue, Rose was a remarkable man whose musical talent was almost unmatched by todays standards. His last album was recorded just before his death and is now due on February 15th by the name of Luck In The Valley. Much to the kindness of his label Thrill Jockey, we've got one of the featured tracks by the name of Woodpiles to share with you.

A pair of commemoration shows were announced earlier this month, one in his hometown of Philadelphia on February 13th and one in London on February 16th. Tickets for the London requiem are just £13 and will feature a host of well-known artists including Hush Arbors and Heather Leigh Murray so if you knew, heard of or just wanted to pay your respects to the man and his music then please do get yourself down there to celebrate and commiserate the wonderful gentleman that was Jack Rose.
