Second single and fourth track off Kings of Leon's "Only By the Night" album, "Use Somebody" had a slightly unconventional birth as a release in its own right. In Australia, the song reached number 12 in the charts despite the fact that it was not an official single at the time.
"Use Somebody" will follow the titularly uncomfortable "Sex on Fire" to propel sales of the album which sold over 200,000 in their first week in the U.K and have also sold over 150,000 to date in Australia. In their home country though, the band only notched up 74,000 copies within the first week of "Only By the Night" being on sale.
The video pitches breathtaking aerial views of the city with surrealised live footage and backstage antics of the band whilst they recline in their hotel room, indulge in a spot of heavy breathing and speed classic cars through the city.
